Meet George the Cat
This is the story of George. I first met George while on my way to Bible Study with my good friends. George was in the middle of Hwy 39, he had just been struck in the head by a car. Lying so still in the middle of the road we scooped him up and took him to Dr. Barbutti. She gave me a kind look and told me he might live if he wants to.
Well, after a surgery to mend his jaw, George decided to live. Because he suffered a head injury, he had to learn to do everything, I mean everything, all over again. So, with the help of the community, the ACVC staff and George’s friends, he learned to be a cat again. After two months of veterinary care and lot’s of TLC, George came home to live with me so my husband and I could continue helping George learn to be himself. Now he is a wonderful loving kitty cat.
