Pet I.D.
- Current Rabies Tag
The rabies tag tells where the dog/cat received vaccinations- that clinic can contact the owners to tell them where their pet is. -
Personal Info Tag
Even better than the rabies tag for quickly reuniting pets with their owners is the personal information tag. This tag tells the pet’s name and the owner’s contact information. Additional MEDICAL ALERTS should also be included to protect the health of your pet.
Check out our TAG PAGE of custom-made tags we can send you by mail or pick up. -
Microchip
The microchip is a safety net should your pet lose their collar while lost (or stolen). A 1cm chip the size of a rice grain is placed under the skin at the back of the neck using an 16 gauge needle and applicator. The chip is encoded with a unique registration code which will be permanently linked to your pet after registration with the international database of WWW.PETLINK.NET. A 2 minute procedure can save hundreds of hours of distress and worry over your lost pet. ***
** The microchip is not a GPS device used to locate your pet by radar or satellite. It is a way for veterinarians and shelters all over the world to identify pets by permanent identification through their chip- their own unique “fingerprint”.

- Picture
A picture says a thousand words in one glimpse- always have a current photo of your dog on hand should they become lost.
Which poster are you more likely to remember?

- County Registration Tag
The animal license, required for dogs and cats, can only be purchased with proof that the pet has a current rabies vaccination. A rabies vaccination and county animal license are two ways to identify ownership and confirm the rabies vaccination status of every dog and cat. It is a State law that every dog and cat be currently vaccinated against rabies. Once a rabies vaccination is administered by a licensed veterinarian, a certificate with owner information and a description of the dog or cat is noted. The expiration date and a rabies tag number is also noted on the certificate.
